Starting with the close of Luke's "Acts of the Apostles" and continuing forward, Mr Broadbent has attempted to focus on the story of those believers who were outside of the systemised Catholic and then Roman church, it's descendants, and other State or 'Official' but un-biblical edifices.
This book is a must read. Twenty-two years ago, when I was searching for a clearer expression of God's people, I was led to read this book. It describes the Remnant of today to a T. You will find your heart in these pages and weep. It is the most inspirational book on Church History I have ever read. Bro. Denny
